Potato Peeling Tip

Well what can be encouraging about peeling a potato? This short video by Dawn Wells, who was Mary Ann on the show Gilligen’s Island is fun to watch because she looks like she is having fun with the process. Plus you learn a new method on how to peel a potato without the potato peeler.
I hope you enjoy it. Oh yes those Idaho potatoes look great, don’t they?

Well, I never watched Gilligan’s Island, but I have eaten Idaho potatoes…and I have used a similar method of peeling them. Beats the heck out of the traditional way! Which reminds me…I’ll bet my husband wishes I would get back into cooking more and spend less time online. Oh well, he understands….

Alex I am not sure why the video would not open for you. It is a cute video. Jacque, I am not sure if I have had any potatoes that looked as good as those Idaho ones in a long time. I guess when the weather starts cooling down some we think of having some nice baked potatoes with all the butter and sour cream. There goes the calorie count.
