Military in Baghdad

Today’s encouragement quote is about remembering others.

Bob Hope: Quotes about Helping
If you haven’t any charity in your heart, you have the worst kind of heart trouble.

How is your summer going? Are you thinking it is too hot, and you are miserable?
When you think of how miserable you are because it is just too hot this summer, please remember our military in Baghdad, and Afghanistan, and other areas of the world where there is extreme heat, and they can’t lounge at the beach or by the pool.

Here is an email I just got and wanted to share it with my readers. Please pass this on so we are all reminded to think of others who are not as well off as we are.

Prayer request

According to the weather reports, it is our understanding that it is 122 degrees in Iraq right now

& the low will be 111! Our troops need our prayers for strength, endurance, and safety… according to God’s will!

I am sorry, but I am not breaking this one…..Let us pray.

Prayer chain for our Military..please don’t break it…

Please send this on after a short prayer.

Prayer

‘Lord, please hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Amen.’
Prayer Request: When you receive this, please stop for a moment and say a prayer for our troops around the world.
Just send this to all the people in your address book. Do not let it stop with you, please.

Of all the gifts you could give a Soldier, Sailor, Airman, Marine & others deployed in harm’s way,
Prayer is the very best one!

“The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by him; and the Lord shall cover him all the day long,

and he shall dwell between his shoulders.” Deuteronomy 33:12

“For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not: I will help thee” Isaiah 41:13

“For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” Psalm 91:11

Love, prayers, and blessings…
