This was sent to me in an email and it is so great that I had to share it. It reminds me that how we react to our situations is the determining factor. Life does not always give us lemonade, or my latest favorite Limeade. However that does not mean that life does not equip us to deal with the bad days. I just heard an incredible radio show from Dr. Charles Stanley (I wake up before 5:30am just to listen to him on most days). It was about facing trials, and how we face the trials.
Somehow this email tied into it. We can either react to the bad in our life by giving up, or we can call on the wisdom that we have to overcome any obstacle. I am sure we all have people in our life who we can use for inspiration in this area. First of all, keep your sense of humor.

Old is just old – old is not dumb!
A strong young man at a construction site was bragging that he could out-do anyone in a feat of strength. He made a special case of making fun of one of the older workmen.
After several minutes, the older worker had enough. ‘Why don’t you put your money where your mouth is,’ he said.. ‘I’ll bet a week’s wages that I can haul something in a wheelbarrow over to that building that you won’t be able to wheel back.’
‘You’re on, old man,’ the braggart replied. ‘Let’s see you do it.’
The old man reached out and grabbed the wheelbarrow by the handles. Then, nodding to the young man, he said, ‘All right, get in.’

I can’t believe Algeria is out. That was so fast. I expected that they had a pretty decent shot to do well in this years world cup. Maybe next time. Maybe its time to jump on the Argentina bandwagon.
