There are probably lots of encouragement quotes for those of us who are facing some fear or danger in our life. Have you ever put off doing something because you were afraid of the outcome. You worked yourself into a frenzy of worry about the worst possible result.

One of the most recent famous quotes about facing fears is the Robert Schuller quote:

“What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?”

Robert Schuller is famous for his Hour of Power television broadcast, and the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, CA. He has written several books for self help.

When you want to give yourself a pep talk or quit giving yourself limiting behavior reinforcement remember some of these quotes.

“Danger feared is folly; danger faced is freedom.”–Dr. V. Raymond Edman

I think you need to be realistic when facing danger though. Most people prepare for facing dangerous situations like skydiving, other extreme sports, firefighters, policeman, and soldiers. Sometimes we get tossed into dangerous situations. Practice remaining calm.

Dr. V. Ranmond Edman was the 4th president of Wheaton College in Illinois. He lived from 1900-1967

Here is a quote from Anne Frank:

The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature.

That is it for today. I hope when your comfort zone gets a a little less comfortable, or you are asked to do something a bit daring for you, you find some comfort in the words of those who have gone before, and those who have done some “impossible” things with their life.
